I am highly skeptical that anyone on babble or even the U of C would ever wish to exclude Jewish people from babble. Israel's politics are controversial in many circles, yes, but I guess that's why civility rules are so important on the politics board. I also am pretty sure that quiet a few people on babble have close Jewish friends. I also bet there are plenty of Jewish posters on babble, too. I think most of us know very well that the Jewish people have a tragic history full of discrimination, I do not deny any of it. I have faith that regardless of varying political leanings regarding the politics of Israel, most of us here are compassionate and wise enough to not to want to perpetuate any tragedy or incivilility against Jewish people.
