I wasn't trying to say you were being mean either, but it seems like some people took offense to something that may have been potentially harmless. Just offering another point of view, that's all. :)

I'm with you, though - I don't fully understand the intent either. Was the original poster calling himself (or his previous self - before homeopathy) a common lazy American fat(*)ss? Hmmm. Whatever he/she meant by it, I have no reason or intention of taking offense.

It seems to me that he was pointing to the idea that America is an "overweight country". Yeah, it a generalization, but *apparently* it's true...at least according to the news...

I think maybe he meant that he's breaking out of that stereotype?

I could be totally wrong, but I think this person is just really enthusiastic about finding something that works!

Again, just my opinions. Sometimes I have trouble keeping them to myself :)
