The message is to be supportive. The issue isn't disagreeing, but criticizing. Different points of view are fine, and in fact encouraged, but your freedom of speech is limited here.

I agree, it might upset some people. Maybe it makes a difference if the leader is still alive? :-) How about if we cross that bridge if we come to it?
