I went to a boy's boarding school where some of the masters, as we called them, would routinely feel up the boys and then would leave under a cloud. This was no big deal, and sometimes the boys would manufacture evidence against some awful sadist and he would get the chop on a pretext of paedophilia. Noone worried too much about that (we had other things to worry about, and still do), just the awful embarrassment of it happening. We shouldn't be too precious about all this.......things aren't always so rosy in the garden.
