Which doesn't mean it doesn't make out lives infinitely more pleasant when someone says something positive about us when that happens.
Which doesn't cause a civility problem but gives a balm to our hurts.
Which is probably true when anything negative is said about any poster (and maybe even Dr. Bob). Having someone else step up to the plate and say something positive doesn't break the civility guidelines, and likely makes the poster feel supported. At least I would feel that. I can't speak for anyone else.
