I would add that after being on this board for a while and noticing things, being a deputy and a poster to me seems a conflict of interest, also should be on the admin board -- it just doesn't make sense to me, and I'm being straightforward.

And don't flame me for this but setting aside the fowl comment of San Diegan (I happen to be Jewish), there seems to be an increase in what I would agreee and describe as overly politically correct or bending over backwards for lack of a better term, such as the recent censuring of ed_uk.

There are people who are definately in need of psychiatric help on here who have substandard care or lack of access and are fragile, but the fine line seems to be getting finer in what can be uttered.

If we all gathered in a group help session with a moderator, things in writing would be taken much differently. Sometimes humour is appropriate. Laughter is a curative at times, but I'm not saying that one should be hurtful or express Schadenfreude.

Just an opinion, I don't run things here but I think there needs to be some changes. If I happen to say f* you in my psychiatrist's office, which I wouldn't particularly do, I'm not kicked out for the duration. After all I'm paying. But maybe that's my psychiatrist.

We all are playing armchair psychiatrists on here to an extent -- something that can be fascinating; something that can be sometimes factually wrong.. sometimes incredible pearls of wisdom. I don't know.. I could go on. And in this sea of people on their lazy-boys, sometimes there's a disagreement. Its only human.
