Yo, admin: today I became a snarling, anti-liberal, mindless...no, cunning, conservative attack dog who happens to speak rather polished American street argot. But, the FCC, has a list of "bad" words. As a former "dirty" Catholic boy I've an affinity for such examples of our glorious, All-USA, lingua franca.
May I here with submit a list of terms for your consideration. [you must do something important, afterall you are "admin" N.B. This is not a drill, nor an exercise in fun for fun's sake." Are these terms acceptably civil:
"jeez", "crap", *rse or *ss, "fudge-packer",
the epithet or oath as may be , "piss, sh*t, and corruption" [Sorry, that's on the list], "p.c" and thence to "pinky cheater" "pinko dupe", the old fashioned "negro", the Italianate "'yam" [I should not hope so!", "oh, hell's bells", "Stick that in your Baltimore Catechism" Finally, I have to smirk not to mention, sneer at this drivel "gay, nazi" as in the drink and papacy.
That's it. I'll contact Laura Ingraham to see how she might view this. And Cynthia Tucker, specifically, in as much as she used the expression "...on the down low."
I realize I'm being tedious, but if I'm gonna come out snarling, I'd at least prefer to appear humanely fastidious while straining to be as much as posible persidiously insidious.
Sorry to be such a drag, but I want to burst out into linguistic mayhem. Thanks, Cockeyed.
