And is this any different than a diagnosis of heart disease, diabetes, mental illness, asthma, alchoholism, etc. the list goes on and on. Some diseases are acquired and some are inherited. Should there be discrimination? And should all the ill people not have a sense of humor? Norman Cousins states that "laughter is the best medicine." They now use funny movies and comedy in Cancer Wards. Laughter produces positive endorphins that help the immune system. And so does massage, Faith, etc. This topic really gets to me.
