It is not my intention to discover the intentions of any poster as to what they write.
As to what they did mean, could not the context offer a clue?
The poster offers the christian book of Matthew, chapter 23. The chapter writes,[...Woe unto you, scribes and pharisees...ye blind guides...].
This forum allows this to be posted and I am not requesting that you write a determination as to its acceptability or not because it has been determined to be acceptable here already. But as to if the intentions of the poster have to be a factor in what others could think as to what the statement says, could not the statement in and of itself have the potential to arrouse antisemitic feelings? And is it necessary to get the poster's point accross to cite Mathew 23? And if the poster is saying that Jesus called the scribes and pharisees blind guides, could it not be that others could also think that the scribes and pharisees were blind guides?
I am requesting that you redirect this discussion to the administrative forum.
