Ignore feature

Posted by NikkiT2 on January 8, 2005, at 14:23:43

This might have been suggested before, as it does seem to trigger some kind of memory.

Could there be a way we could put another poster here on "ignore", so that we wouldn't see any of that persons posts. We have it at another site I use, and its really handy.. If theres a poster that you know triggers certain feelings from you, you can simply not see their posts in the first place.. a kind of "what you don't know can't hurt you" kind of thing. You don't see any threads where the top level one is by him, and in established threads, you simply don't see his posts.

I know we all own our own feelings, and the way we react to people is our own problem, but sometimes there are people who's posts you find grating, and its much nicer to simply not see them.

Just a suggestion and thought

Nikki
