In the sense of voting for moderators I don't think many would be prepared to play that game because most of us (or perhaps I should just speak for myself here) wouldn't be prepared to partake in something where there would be a danger of it turning into a popularity contest. My self esteem isn't up to it for one.
But when there is a consensus and no reason is offered for why everyone is just being ignored... Well, thats my only problem.
