Whenever you redirect a post by replying to it, but sent to a different board, there is a hotlink to the post you're replying to. So, it can be backtracked, but you won't get the nice list of all posts in the thread down at the bottom of the page....if that's what you were hoping to get.

It's a good idea to post two replies to a redirected thread. The first one is the redirected post to the new board. Click on it so you can get the URL at the bottom of the page. Then go back to the post you first replied to, and post again, but on the same board, explaining what you did, and posting the link to the new thread over on the other board. That way people can find their way both forward and backward.
