Lou's request for a determination-res

Posted by Lou Pilder on September 26, 2004, at 13:52:02

Dr. Hsiung,
I am requesting that you make a determination as to if the following post can remain unadmonished.
The post is about, "10 posts each containing 10 words, will take up more space than 1 post with 100 words.". I feel that that is infomation that gives the potential for other to consider that the poster is referring to my posting of the 10 or so posts since I do not see any other poster posting 10 posts.
The statement in question in the post is:
"Another site that I use limits the number of posts by people on their main board for a very similar reason. it is not a "legal" rule, but one that evryone abides by out of respect for other posters."
If I am theposter being written about in that post, then I feel put down and/or accused after reading that statement. Since I an the one that used the 10 or so posts, then I feel that there is enough infomation in the post to have me feel that I am theone identified as that poster. And the statement by the poster that I have cited above causes me to feel that there is some type of disrespect by me associated with posting 10 posts instead of 1 post with the 10 posts contained within that one post.
It is not my intention to be disrespectfull here to anyone, nor do I consider it disrespectfull for one to post in response to a topic in multiple or single posts.
I am asking you to make a determination if the part of the post, [..out of respect for others...] is civil in the context of that post in question below:
