Larry's eloquent message echoes a point I tried to make earlier. The administrative rules system is inherently unfair. It does not allow for flexibility based on the circumstances.
Another example of this is the harsh sentences doled out to those who tried to help raise funds for a computer for a fellow Babbler. Can there be no distinction in penalty between those who solicit for fraudulent money making schemes versus those who are trying to help a dear friend who has been cut off from her emtional support system? How is that fair?
I'd also like to reiterate that this system which produces longer blocks based on the number of the offense rather than on the particular issue at hand is also inherently unfair.
Adherence to these Draconian measures is not serving us well. The rules need to be amended to allow for more fairness!!
