ZH - You are OH so wise! Yes, only the left part of the address shows. In my case, since I've already published my email address here a few times, we can use it for demo purposes.
When we sign on to Open, and view the Members list, it displays my email address as "EmilySimon2003 at Y...."
So, indeed the full address is NOT listed. My bad. I forgot about that. HOWEVER!! If I thought no one would know my name is Emily Simon, I'd be wrong. The Babble world would know that now. Surprise!!! I know it came as a shock to me when I first saw that out there. I had no clue that would happen.
Also, anyone can send email to that name, regardless of the fact that the domain name is hidden.
What is GOOOD is that Yahoo must prevent these ids from getting spam since I never get spam at that address.
My preference remains; if it is possible for Bob to change and administrative setting such that these addresses are NOT public, that would be a good thing.
