I've read a few things by that poster -- and have to say that this really isn't the first of the pot stirring incidents. Considering how fragile partlycloudy has been lately, and considering the stated purpose of these forums -- id est: mutual support -- I really believe that this is a very dangerous precedent to set here.
I have very mixed feelings about the idea of total blocks for posters -- for a variety of reasons, not least being that many times this sort of seeming hostility is one way to plead for help. On the other hand, when someone comes in offering this sort of pain, perhaps this is not the best possible forum for that person.
Dr Bob, whatever you choose to do in this case, I trust that it is what you believe to be the best for all concerned. (Heck, even the times you've PBC'd me in situations where it really hurt or I've felt rather unfairly singled out for a single post after a history with another poster, I've still known that you were doing what you considered best for the community at large.)
By the way, if you have followed any of what's going on with me currently, you'll know that I'm not really in a posting place right now. This subject raises such strong feelings that I had to chime in with Dinah.
