I would be happy to collect information about this problem, and then work with Dr. Bob to see if we can figure it out. Sounds like it is browser independent. If you don't know some of these answers, that is OK. If I need more details, I could send you an email explaining how to find them.
Please send your information to babble fallsfall (a hotmail account).
Please tell me about your computer and internet connection:
1. What processor does your computer have?
2. How much RAM? (see Control Panel/System)
3. Internet connection: Dialup (what speed)/DSL/cablemodem?
4. What operating system? (Windows 2000, Windows ME, MacOSX, etc.)
5. How much free disk space do you have?
6. Have you seen this "same" problem with any other sites?
7. Have you changed anything on your computer recently - particularly if you can identify when the problem first started happening for you, did you change anything just before that time? (new OS, upgraded hardware, got virus, filled up hard drive, de-fragmented, etc.)Tell me about *each* time when you have seen the problem:
A. Date/time (and timezone...)
B. Exactly what you did (Open main site, go to Psych board, click on [give me the URL of the link you were trying to get to], froze for 2 minutes, click on X in corner to close window, tried again and it worked - or whatever)
C. What else was running on your computer at the time? What applications were "up"? Were you doing more than one thing at a time (i.e. downloading music at the same time)?I'll let you know what we figure out!
Thanks,
Falls
