Anytime you get weird things on a web page that are appearing new or aren't appearing new- try deleting your temporary internet files and cache. It's easy- in your web browser go to Tools>Internet Options. Click Delete Cookies, then click Delete Files (these are the cached pages- this will allow the page to grap the new data from the website rather than using cahed info, which may play around with the process that the "new" markers are captured. Clearing your history may help this as well. It's good to do those three things on a monthly basis. It helps keep your connection speedy and bug free (for the most part) :)

The "new" markers for the posts i haven't read yet and the colored difference in the posts i have read since last log in are a real boon to me and timesaver: two of the many features of this site that i appreciate very much.
