Thanks! I guess it's just sometimes I tend to be overly open here, and while I am totally OK with people here knowing stuff, I guess it didn't occur to me that friends or coworkers could google me or something. A coworker came in last month and said, who's Dr. Bob? I didn't have my screen minimized.....Maybe googling *my* name wouldn't bring this up, but googling Dr. Bob would...!!!
Honestly, I'm really leaning toward keeping my current name because I don't want to deal with the hassle. Like I always said *if* I ever got married, I wouldn't take my husband's last name, cuz then I'd go through a couple of years at work where I'd have to explain who I was again....
And I don't have the energy for that. :-)
It's just a thought that's in the back of my mind...along with all the other garbage. :-)
