maybe a new board on Eating Disorders?

{{small voice}} I know, that's *my* problem, not necessarily anyone else's, but maybe we could try to get together? Hell, I'll take the first ten pounds mailed to me, and would have been very pleased while on Paxil years back to send off thirty or forty pounds to anyone who needed them.

The results of the behavior may be different, but comfort eating and anorexia seem pretty related to me, and I do know how I felt gaining weight on the other ADs I've been on. I agree with the poster who said that other diet related boards are unlikely to be supportive of the mental health issues, and a Lifestyles board would be a boon to us here.

And, personally, I would be overjoyed to be able to communicate with others who've dealt with anorexia on a Babble board. It's a lonely feeling, and it's so hard to discuss with anyone who hasn't experienced it. It's also so danged confusing that it's very difficult to talk about with a therapist, so a nice, anonymous online forum where we can take our time and worm through the mazes to get the feelings sorted out -- well, I can't even express how it could help, so you decide if it would be so meaningful as to be inexpressable...

Just my $.02, and cheap at half the price.
