My 'philosophy' is if I have to err let it be by assuming anothers positive intent, not negative. I cannot overstate that this is my PERSONAL philosophy and don't think it should be everyone's
In a situation such as this, letting one person have the power to change how you welcome someone; an integral part of your personality, seems to me to be the only way they can really get the best of you.
I mean, if you welcome the same person a few times and they get a laugh at it, so what?
Its a drop in the bucket.
