I mean that there is no special difference between using either [...] or {...} or(...). So,
[...the Yankees... beat the Redsox...3-zip...]
{...the Yankees... beat the Redsox...3-zip...}
(...the Yankees...beat the Redsox...3-zip...)
are all the same to me in my style of writing, with no special significance given to the different types of brackets.
