I've "known" Eric (Lostboy) for a few years now, and I have to say that I frequently take exception to his style of communicating. He's much improved, but he still speaks in disempowering terms. When I read....

Ditch the fascination with things psychology...its just making you worse, thinking about yourself more. You need to think about yourself less, which means less therapy and less psychology stuff. Get on some heavy duty meds and bomb that schizoaffective disorder back to the stone age. "

....what I "hear" is that Eric is dismissing the entire therapeutic process *chosen* by another party. Moreover, he suggests that anyone with severe mental illness (I don't even like that phrase, as everyone's symptoms wax and wane) is screwed unless heavily medicated. In essence, he seeks to impose his values and weighting system onto another party. He doesn't speak of his own experience. He tries to shape another's.
