I might be more agreeable to this "next step" if I hadn't gone through a registration process that very clearly laid out the purposes and conventions of this board. By registering I agreed that I understood what had been said, and it was ok with me, and I wanted to participate. Sort of like informed consent.
I am just not 'getting' what anyone hopes to accomplish by contacting the university officials. Are we going to write and say "Bob doesn't listen to us like we want and his guidelines are vague?"
And, the ultimate result? The boards come falling down. I really start to wonder, as I have previously, whether admin is the most important thing here? I have to go back to basics, and these boards are for people (like me) who have problems of one kind or another, emotional probably, and want help. And, many of us have been helped here. And still are being helped, and new people come and get help, support and education.
I think anyone who wants to write about Dr. Bob should do so, and contact the university officials, and whomever else they want, and sue Dr. Bob for whatever reason they can think up. But, don't forget the registration process, and don't forget that it is completely voluntary to be here. That doesn't mean love it or leave it, but, in my mind, it means register your displeasure on admin or leave it.
I hope the boards are still standing when it's all over.
I think mine should be a sufficiently unpopular stance that it might save Oracle some suffering.
