...with many talents. I think the ability to overcome OCD, bipolar disorder, depression, hearing music continuously, & atrocious spelling, & many other disorders is remarkable for any person to surmount. Credit needs to be given where credit's due. I feel that we should be more supportive of any person that can do so very much despite the odds against them.
After all, setting a number of world records in sales (despite being a rookie), teaching math, getting two master’s degrees, helping people free themselves from benzodiazepine addiction and rare adverse reactions to psychotropic drugs, becoming a millionaire, doing four years intensive research into musical hallulinations, studying the epidemiology of psychotropic drugs, because “insurance, drugs, & death” was his business, & even time travel (…when I was on the Road, I was transported into the future to The Kingdom of God - http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/social/20020616/msgs/25723.html ) are all very remarkable accomplishments, especially time travel.
And don't forget having the know-how to be very successful financially without letting it ruin your spirituality. After all, owning a number of mansions, living in one & renting the others out to people who need them show how altrusitic he is despite his millions.

http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/admin/20020627/msgs/6559.htmlAnd all this, despite tragedies in his family past - his father & two brothers dying from taking neuroleptic drugs, & another brother a helpless invalid from them, having his fiancée leave him because she thought him unbalanced, & then losing a wife to adultery.
If such a person can accomplish so much, surely we can too! A life of joy & bliss, free from guilt, stress , or worry, unshackled from drugs! All that’s necessary is to follow him through a number of gates. And it shouldn’t be difficult. After all, he has assured us that it will be a fairly straightforward explanation & won’t take long to explain:
“What I have to say takes 7 sessions, each of about 3 paragraphs, and it will guide you to a road that will lead you out of the shackles of your drugs and free you to live an exstatic life.” Lou, on January 29, in http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/20020124/msgs/92033.html
Now there may be a bit of confusion involved about religious writings & whether it would be a good idea to read the Bible or not, but that probably doesn't matter:
“…and I had never read a bible.I know nothing of the new testament for I am jewish.” Lou, on May 22 in http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/social/20020517/msgs/24328.html
“Now after I was in the City of Peace, I read the Bible about the jesus person in it. I remeber didtinctly that he did preach to people. Also, you say that he went easy. Not from what I remember in my reading of the bible.” Lou, on May 26 in http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/admin/20020510/msgs/5319.html
And it doesn't matter what religious denomination you are or aren't. In fact, you can belong to one religion & then retract your statement. “I am jewish and we read the Torah” Lou, on Feb 15, in http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/social/20020214/msgs/18304.html
It’s possible that we may even get to stay at the same ancient castle where he did too, & see the names of famous people inscribed on the stone walls who had stayed there, people like “Winston Churchill, Vincent van Gogh, Michelangelo, William Shakespear, Judy Garland, Louis Armstrong, Abraham Lincoln, Charles Parker, Virginaia Woolf, Irving Berlin, Natalie Wood, Leo Tolstoy, Albert Einstien, F. Scott Fitzgearald, Elvis Pressley, Grace Kelly, Jimmy Piersall, Truman Capote, Liberace, M.L.King, Issac Newton, Jon Belushi and many more.” Lou, on March 4 in
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/social/20020223/msgs/19239.htmlPerhaps we'll meet an historic figure like Robert E. Lee, or see inanimate objects come to life.
“I went to the park and sat down on a bench by the statue of the man on the horse. The horse and it's Rider came alive.” Lou, on March 19 in http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/social/20020314/msgs/20238.htmlSuch a rich & varied life! Who wouldn’t want to listen to the sage counsel of someone seeking to share their experiences with us?
