Criticism v. Questions » Phil

Phil:

What you saw as a criticism was a question. I'm trying to understand the rules, not change them or bend them. From my first day on this board, I have defended and appreciated everything Dr. Bob has done and tried to do. Even when I have disagreed with him, I've held nothing but the utmost respect for him—and for his decisions. And I hope that has come across in most of my administrative posts.

There is no question that Dr. Bob has a difficult job. But I do bite, so when I decide to take a chunk out of someone's leg, I want to see how blocked I'm going to get. Will it be a week, since I've only had a PBC? Or will it be two weeks if something I say is truly evil? And because I can't imagine ever saying something in offense--as in scared's posts, I want to know what self-defense gets: a week or life?

This is all a very stiff, very proper way of saying that I think you're barking up the wrong tree! There are plenty of folks here whose questions and comments do suggest a lack of faith in the doc's decision-making skills. On one or two circumstances, I may have beat a dead horse until it came back to life to grant me a "good point," but digreement and argument are healthy. (Polite disagreement and argument, though challenging, are really healthy!)

I was never a supporter of, "America: Love it, or Leave it." I was the one shouting, "America: Love it? Then Make it Better!"

My question to--not criticism of--Dr. Bob stands.

But that's okay, Phil. You're still cute. (The thong, however, may be a bit tight.)
