Change in basics are unsettling

Posted by Fi on April 24, 2002, at 15:59:20

It hasnt surprised me that there is a lot of posting when something fundamental changes. The structure is important, and the familiarity.

So there's loads of concern if Dr B goes on holiday (much deserved)without explaining carefully beforehand about it, and how things would be handled and that the person covering would be OK and not have access to emails etc

Or if a board is set up which cant be posted to by everyone.

I'm just mentioning this as it explains the level of concern about these things, which seems to puzzle some folk at times.
