We agree on something -- I'm tired of your posts also.
I am a lawyer, and when I give an opinion that I feel is "legal" in nature, I feel that it is important that the reader know that. Has to do with the ethics of my profession. I don't want to mislead anyone. Anyone that has read my posts on this board knows that I try to avoid the legal stuff -- and just stick to my own illness and my own reaction to meds or situations.
You can dislike it all you want. I have made some really good friends on this board, I have gained a lot of useful insights from a lot of people I have come across on this board, I've defended Dr. Bob as much as I have critized him. I'm part of this community. And if your toes feel stepped, then so be it. You can dance all around and say what you will, but what you "accuse" me of ("stepping on free speech") is what you are doing here and what you have done in some of your earlier posts. You can call it disagreeing -- that is fine.
The board will lighten up when it lightens up. There has been a personality or two stirring things up lately. I haven't been around long, but already long enough to know that this too shall pass -- but pronouncements from those still here are unnecessary. This post pissed me off, pure and simple. Especially, when the only correcting I have seen so far today came from you towards JohnX2 -- yeah, he might have copped a little bit of an attitude in the way he posted, but he was really trying to help jaby in his reply. For you to dress him down -- all I saw was you needing to lighten up. JohnX2 will be fine, without your help. And it was you that jaby took issue with, not JohnX2. Besides those posts, things seemed to be lightening up just fine (as light as it can get considering some people are in crisis).
So why don't we call a truce for now -- I'll be a good little alanon person and I'll quit trying to change you and if you would like, you can do the same with me. But in the future, if you write something I disagree with, I may answer. I'll try to do it from the standpoint of getting my view on the subject out and hopefully it won't come across that I am trying to change your mind or attack you. I don't know you. I have no reason to attack you.
