> Thanks for letting me know. It's fixed. But do you have any idea why this happens? I think all the scripts lock files before writing to them. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, of if this just happens when a server gets busy. At least it doesn't happen *that* often...

Well, index.html for each directory is static, so I am asuming that as users post, this is appended to by whatever mechanism is used for that purpose... It seems to affect a random? section of the html rather than just an error in the post process that affects all the messages from that point onwards... This has been the case in both times that I've noticed it...

It could in fact be a after effect of the post process, which incorectly updates index.html, but I don't know that for certain... I don't know if it happens randomly, perhaps the page gets corrupted at some point during the write process...??? Or by some other method...

Maybe we can check out the html next time, if it occurs again to get a better picture.

Do you use a pre-made cgi for the boards, or is it something of your own design? If you got it as an add-on, you may try contacting the original author.

Sorry I can't be more helpfull, I'm not quite an expert in html, I do a bit of design, but thats about it.
