Hi amd,
I am really sorry you are struggling. I have a couple of clients, one a meth user, and the other an ex-user, and they too have struggled. But, the good news, is that they go through peaks and valleys as well. I am also an addict, and go through the same.
Abilify has been shown to have some effectiveness for addictions. Have you tried it? It may be a good option.
Please keep posting. I and others would gladly like to support. You aren't alone, and I have seen some recover from the most difficult of addictions. There IS hope. And hope you feel better.
Best,
Jay
> I have been sleeping all week. No energy. Cant read. Feel absolutely toxic. I am afraid this is permanent and that I took a good life (or a reasonable one) and threw it away after one night. Ive read horror stories about the permanent damage from meth and now Im scared my life is over. Day five and still feel depressed and unable to focus. Marginally better than before at best. I dont know what to do. I have no hope :(

I cant focus on anything; I feel mentally numb and fuzzy; Im frustrated and want to scream; Ive been tired for the entire time, sleeping most of the day; I feel somewhat physically ill; and Im breaking out in acne. Is this going to get better? I am angry at myself but cant believe the swing from feeling mentally clear and getting back to the gym and now this, all from six hours of some smoking and a day or so without sleep. I cant ever remember feeling so miserable, ever, and Im scared to death.
