In reply to ChatGPT is fun to ask about medicines...., posted by PeterMartin on March 15, 2023, at 22:33:58
> If weren't aware OpenAI has released a (Free for the moment) chatbot called ChatGPT. Last night I had a long conversation w/ it about medicines I take and whether or not there were studies testing it's efficacy, whether or not X Y Z can change the blood levels, etc. Was pretty cool - I'd suggest giving it a go if you're bored:

> The most interesting thing I found out from the conversation is that both Metformin and Ritalin can lower blood levels of lamotrigine. It knew this information from studies that it cited. This is helpful for me as I'm experiencing some anxiety out of nowhere. It has me wondering if Metformin and/or more specifically Ritalin is causing my lamotrigine levels to dip leading to temporary (but almost crippling) anxiety on random days.....>
I'd highly suggest a shot at carbamazapine for general anxiety. It has been a lifesaver to me. Also, Ritalin should go well with it and the same with lamotrgine. But, you will have to adjust levels because carbamazapine can lower them.
Good luck,
