> Well, for the sake of our mental health, let's not go there (sorry for mentioning it..lol). But, disinhibition can make for a terrible person. A small amount can reduce anxiety. Using benzos at the right time works.

Generally, Xanax (alprazolam) is the most effective among the benzodiazepines for treating anxiety, but it has the greatest liability for producing addiction. Some people describe themselves as floating on a cloud with Xanax. I guess Ativan (lorazepam) would be my second choice to treat anxiety. Clonazepam (Klonopin) is effective, too, but I found it almost impossible to discontinue. Brain-zaps.
Disinhibition while taking a BZD can make an otherwise passive person belligerent - and even violent. Alcohol also produces disinhibition, and we know how loud someone who is intoxicated can be.
