Hi.
"The effect of bupropion augmentation of minocycline in the treatment of depression"
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31342957/
Minocycline is an antibiotic that also reduces inflammation in the brain. It accomplishes this through suppressing the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines from microglial cells. Of course, it might do other thing. Minocycline does have significant antidepressant effects. It helped me for quite some time. However, I had to discontinue it because hyperpigmentation of the skin appeared on my feet and lower legs. This side effect didn't emerge until I had taken minocycline for almost a year.I haven't a clue as to how bupropion and minocycline might have a synergistic effect.
