Oxcarbazepine (Trileptal) might offer an alternative to carbamazepine (Tegretol) for anger or hostility disorders. Unlike carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine does not cause agranulocytosis and require regular blood tests. Oxcarbazepine is much less sedating and doesn't affect cognition as much. The only thing to watch out for is hyponatremia. I am not sure precisely which diagnoses these drugs are used to treat.

Some see things as they are and ask why.
I dream of things that never were and ask why not.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
