And about Gillman...I agree with Linkadge... venlafaxine and desvenlafaxine have significant noradrenaline activity. I have been on the former for about 20 years now. I periodically switched. For me, compared to ALL SRI's, venlafaxine is far, far more stimulating. One factor that demonstrates the noradrenergic activity at work is the major REM suppression. Bur, this is very important, mainly because it is 'Real World' experiences that occur outside of the laboratory, usually over many years.
