Nortriptyline Increases Dopamine....

"The norepinephrine reuptake transporter is responsible for removing dopamine from the synapse in this area of the brain. Blockade of these transporters by agents such nortriptyline can acutely increase dopamine levels in the frontal cortex, facilitating dopaminergic function."
