Can you be in remission while you are on meds?

Hey guys,
I am bothered a lot by my diagnosis. I haven't had Psychosis in 8 years, but I do take neuroleptics. The diagnosis leads to everyone not taking me seriously, which is not right! Now my question is would you call that remission? Thinking about asking my psychiatrist to change the diagnosis. It is harsh that I have to ask. When you label someone that forcefully, you should check without being asked wether or not it is still the case.
My diagnosis right now is schizo-affective and I want it changed to "Schizo-Affective, Psychosis in complete remission".

Seroquel 700mg
Zyprexa 22.5mg
Trazodone 75mg
Venlafaxine 37.5mg
Metformin 2000mg
Lithium 225mg
Orthomolecular
