I thought that the use in (bipolar) depression was just marketing from Astra Zeneca. I am beginning to consider that it is not. Yeah I too heard that the eps and td risk of Seroquel is lower. Seroquel has more cognitive side effects although I think that they slowly wear off. Zyprexa is worse metabolically, with eps/td and it makes me lazier than Seroquel. Sounds like Seroquel is a better option to hold onto. I was thinking going 25->20 with the Zyprexa and 650->800 with Serouel. Maybe not all at once. Maybe one step in between to adjust!
