That is interesting. While I do think that SSRI-induced apathy has a lot to do with dopamine, I'm open to other possibilities and treatments that aren't based on stimulants.
I took about 90 tablets of 2 mg clonazepam, believing I would just sleep for a long time. I "woke" up again in the hospital, with absolutely no memory of most of what had happened since I took the drug. From what the nurses told me, I had vandalised my room. Maybe I was manic? It's possible, but I tend to think I switched personalities. Anyway, I guess this may lend some support to the idea of using benzos against apathy.
