You responded to my post above, but I thought I'd start a new thread.
My rash is not doing much better. I saw an online doctor (major backlogs because of COVID) and this was pretty much useless. They prescribed Loprox (ciclopirox) which has done nothing. The doctor could only look at pictures and I really have no firm diagnosis.
I am pretty sure it is tinea corpus, but it hasn't responded to any OTC antifungals (clotrimazole, miconazole, tolnaftate) and now ciclopirox.
The problem is that the rash creates a yellow sticky goopy coating which is virtually impossible to remove. I literally scrape away at it with apple cider vinegar and a green scratchy pad (or fine sandpaper) and then the goopy coating is back the next day. Anything I put on it topically is just not getting to it. I likely need oral antifungals (if it is tinea).

If you have any insight shoot. I'm seeing a dermatologist next week, but again its 'online' (useless) and they likely won't prescribe any oral antifungals (without lab work?)
