I can barely see because my glasses are so scratched and the prescription is over 10 years old. I can't afford a new one because, again, I have no coverage. I have repaired them several times with glue, tape, and heat shrink tubing.
As far as octopirox, the rash is so widespread that I go through a 30g tube of OTC antifungals in under a week. It has completely covered my legs and now my arms and shoulders. I can't afford another $50-100 a week with zero income. This is especially true for something that may not even work or may take weeks or months to show any improvement.
The rash is so widespread and deep I NEED an oral antifungal (cheaper and likely more effective). Even if I go to the ER, they're likely going to send me home with useless steroids.
Canada's healthcare system is a broken. It works for people with benefits. It doesn't for people who don't.
