I was so desperate for Ketamine that I think I dropped 1 pill a week and than after 3 weeks had a 2 week clearance period. The anesthesiologist who was to do the Ketamine decided not to do it on me because my history got her nervous. I was pretty upset as I had come off of Nardil just to have the treatment. I was referred to a psychiatrist who is a Ketamine expert and she said i never had to come off of it. Now who would you believe? An anesthesiologist or a psychiatrist. Right?
Anyway I had maybe 12 K treatments which worked but did not last. Im back on Nardil but had severe suicidal ideation which has been a large part of my depression. I added DL Phenylalanine and it eliminated the SI. No docs even give this to pts or know anything about it. Researching things on your own is the only way I have survived this long.
Whats gonna happen when you come off Nardil? Is that all you take. I also take Ritalin 5 mg 1-2x/day, Lithium 300 and tiny dose of Seroquel (50) for sleep mostly.
