Is rosmarin the same as rosmarinic acid?

I grow rosemary and use it for anxiety. You can pick off the needles and chew on them. Rosmarinic acid does have antidepressant properties (at least in animal models). It also inhibits gaba-t activity, and has some inhibitor effects on calcium channels.

In some ways, it resembles valproate. I don't know about interactions with liver enzymes.
