I have a gym membership and they have a sauna. I feel better after using it for 10-15min but I'm not sure if there's good science to back up that it's due to it increasing neurotransmitters.
I know I searched pub med once and wasn't able to find anything that clearly indicated Sauna use helped depression. I didn't find anything that said it hurt though.
I'd recommend it and it definitely gets you hot :)
