I wonder whether I should ask to go on Nardil or Parnate. Given my symptoms what would you suggest?
Severe social phobia/avoidant personality disorder
Very low self esteem, passivity, self-loathing
Alternating dysthymia and major depression and all the fun symptoms that come packaged with them
Cognitive impairment: Bad verbal fluency and word recall, ability to process and think and speak, blank mind, bad memory. Im completely stupefied.
Body dysmorphia
Intrusive thoughts of self harmI always thought nardil would be the way to go because the SP is the worst and most depressing symptom I have. But its so tied to my cognitive processing issues, which is probably tied to my crushing lifelong depression, so maybe parnate is better for me because Ive read parnate kicks in faster and can give you energy, whereas nardil can mentally slow some people down.
Hopefully Ill start one of these in a month and a half. My pdoc has been giving me the run-around for 6 months, so well see...
Thanks babblers
