Rexulti is chemically related to Abilify, which I have derived some benefit from in the past. However, Rexulti was of no benefit to me. Vraylar, on the other hand, made my depression much more severe.
My chronic depression probably lies somewhere along the bipolar spectrum. Some antidepressant treatments have launched me into a severe and psychotic mania. The DSM 5 now includes this presentation in its description of bipolar disorder.
