UCM765 looks promising. It affects melatonin, but only the MT2 receptor. The melatonin supplements that are currently available affect both the MT1 and MT2 receptors. UCM765 significantly increases the amount of time spent in deep (stage 4) sleep, something that sleep aids that are currently available don't do. UCM765 might also be an effective treatment for anxiety and depression.
