Let's understand what was just said here. It is ok to impugn another patient/poster if they their experiences and knowledge are different than your own. That's what was said. Lyme disease has no relation to mental illness - this statement is made with zero evidence and zero experience. Shutting down conversation is a good thing if you disagree with it. Bully the person who said it. Make them feel bad for believing what they believe. The author of the post, if I understand correctly, has said these things.
I disagree with all of that. Sharing of information, ideas, experiences, doctor visits, trials and errors is all necessary and positive for providing options for patients to improve the quality of their lives and end suffering.
So I not only disagree with the author, I strongly disagree.
