Neuroleptics can sometimes make anxiety worse. there's akathisia, of course, but there's also some indication that heavy duty D2 blocking can induce panic attacks and such. true story...I read an abstract...apparently, xanx xr can help (note the sarcasm).
personally, I'd see about slowly tapering one of the tranquilizers while introducing somethings...anything...relatively non-toxic to help mood and anxiety.
Since you're already on zyprexa, prozac is a very good idea, I think. Here in the US, there's symbyax, which is fixed amounts of prozac+zyprexa, in one capsule. Problem there is...
prozac and I think most other antidepressants, boosts tranquilizer levels. Not always a big deal, but...with 2 high dose neuroleptics on board, could (I would think...possibly...) trigger EPS, dysphoria, more sedation, etc. Just a random thought.
I'm thinking about asking my shrink about mirapex. its been used in both bipolar i and schizophrenia. my depression gets so bad sometimes that its as if my brain and body just shut down. uppers only helped so much, and they're not about to give me those at this clinic, so...mirapex is looking like a possibly, maybe, if dude'll go for it...somewhat viable option. maybe you could try that? it might cut down on any Parkinsonism and such, if you have any of that going (I don't know if you do or not, clearly).
other than that...no real ideas, sorry. oh wait...modafanil, nuvigil. there again, drug-drug interactions are more of an issue than with the old school stimulants, but...it is what it is.
