> "Recovery." Its...the new buzz word in Mental Health, Inc. Not that its wrong or even inaccurate, its just...missing the point. I think of my "recovery" more as an ongoing story of redemption and growth.

For some time I thought recovery meant 'cured', and this idea caused me harm and psychic pain. There is also the buzz around 'acceptance', and much like addicts, when I acknowledged my condition, I felt more at peace. There's this book, "How to Be Sick" that I found very helpful. For a long I felt ashamed to be ill, and I spent many, many hours ruminating, as if tracing the course of being sick to some original mistake, I would find my way back to health.
I'm really glad you've stabilized :-)
